Vail Valley Young Life July 2012 Prayer Letter

Scripture: “His compassion never ends.  Great is His faithfulness, His lovingkingness begins afresh each day.  My soul claims the Lord as my inheritance, therefore I will hope in Him.”  Lamentations 3:22-24

What more can be said?  Let that truth, that promise, sink deep into your bones today!

Praise:

*For an amazing week at Lost Canyon in Williams, AZ.  Camp held abundant adventure, challenging conversations, and changed lives!  What a faithful God you are!

*For the vision, leadership, and presence of Area Director, Ben, and his dear family.  They are nearing the the one year anniversary of their arrival in the Vail Valley.  Praying for many more!

Prayer:

*Campaigners:  That long-lasting relationships would form; that our friends would continue growing in their walk with Jesus.

*New Leaders:  That additional individuals would be drawn to walk alongside and love on our high school students.  That, Lord, you already know, in your great compassion, what we already need and who those individuals are!

*Auction:  That 300+ guests would attend “Light Up the Night” on August 12th, as we gather in Beaver Creek Village with musician Brandon Heath (LightUpTheNight.net).  We pray, also, that we can raise 400K for Vail Valley Young Life. Lord, your mercies are new EVERY morning!  Therefore, we HOPE in you!

Thanksgiving:

Thank you for your abundant mercy.  For your overflowing grace.  Thank you that we can HOPE in you!  What a FAITHFUL God you are!  We continue to trust in you for all the concerns on our hearts, especially for all the friends, leaders, and supporters of Vail Valley Young Life this month.  Amen.
